Your dashboards tell you the margin is gone.
Your people can tell you how to get it back.
The people closest to the work already know where sales are being won and lost, where margin leaks, where labor is being wasted, and where execution drifts from one store to the next. Tell Jules is how they tell you.
Jules hears from all your people, across stores and the teams behind them
and turns those conversations into a short, structured report for leadership to assess,
so you can hit your plan with the wins your own people already know about
Store-level knowledge rarely survives the climb to HQ
You have more data than ever, but only your people can tell you why the numbers moved and what they would do to move them back.
Your numbers show the what, never the why
Your dashboards tell you comps slipped or shrink climbed. What's behind the number lives with your people. It never shows up in the data.
The people who see it first are hard to reach
Whatever is draining a store shows up first to whoever is closest to it. Most ways of asking never reach them at scale.
Visits and surveys catch the calm version
A store visit is prepared and orderly. A survey asks what you thought to ask. Neither gets to what actually moved the number.
See what’s driving performance across your stores
Jules shows you the specific operational problems and ideas your teams see, across every part of the business that shapes how your stores perform.
See what helps stores sell more
Hear what your teams notice at the shelf, in the aisle, and at the register: out-of-stocks, displays that miss, and the fixes that would move more product.
“After five, nobody’s watching the fitting rooms, so people just set down their armful of clothes and walk out without buying.”
Apparel associate·evenings
You can staff the gap and keep that sale from walking out.
Understand what’s driving shrink
Hear what your teams are seeing around shrink, damage, and markdowns, so you can catch the pattern early and stop the loss.
“People scan their expensive produce as the cheap stuff at self-checkout. We watch it happen all day and nothing stops them.”
Front-end supervisor·self-checkout
You catch the shrink source before it turns into a write-off.
Keep the people you can't afford to lose
See what keeps your best employees coming back, and which shifts are driving good people away.
“Saturday afternoons we’ve got two registers open and a line out the door. Tuesday mornings there’s five of us standing around with nothing to do.”
Store manager·weekend peak
You can bring back the crew that already knows the floor.
See how changes are working on the floor
Hear how new rollouts, standards, and ideas are actually working in your stores, so you can fix what's not landing before you scale it everywhere.
“I’ve brought this idea up a few times. Every time, someone says we tried it years ago and that’s the end of it, even though things are different now.”
Long-tenured associate·an idea stuck behind a no
You can weigh the idea on today's facts, even one dismissed years ago.
Discover the problems and ideas your people already know about,
ready for you to triage and act on
Jules brings together the problems and ideas from across the business, each one framed with the money at stake, the risk to manage, and the teams who should own it.
The opportunities your people can already see
Ask the people closest to the work and you hear the ideas they think could win sales or take out cost, the kind that never make it onto a plan. Tell Jules gathers them from every store and brings them to you to weigh, while there’s still time to act.
“We should only get the number of posters we have windows for. Right now we throw half of them out every season.”
Idea · from the store floorThe problems your people spot first, with the fix attached
The people on the floor often see a problem first, and many arrive with a fix. Tell Jules brings both to you early, so you can decide what to act on before a small issue turns into a bigger one.
“We keep losing part-timers because their shifts clash with school hours. If we scheduled around that, most would stay.”
Problem + solution · store managerEvery problem comes framed to get you to a decision faster
Each problem and idea arrives with the framing to act on it: the P&L line it touches and how to size it, the risk and how to manage it, and the teams who should lead. You get what you need to triage fast, without spinning up a months-long study.

Hear from everyone, from the C-suite to the checkout
People closest to each part of the business see different things. Tell Jules gives everyone a simple way to contribute, then brings those perspectives together so leadership can see what is happening across stores, regions, and shifts.
See the biggest themes, recurring issues, and strongest ideas across the business in one place, so you can decide where to focus first.
Hear from every store in your region, not just the teams you happen to visit, and bring more frontline input into the programs you already run.
Give associates, stockers, and shift leads a direct way to share what they see, what is working, and what they would improve.
Hear from all your people, see it in one view
Tell Jules makes it easy to hear from people across stores, shifts, levels, and roles, then turns what they know into a clear, prioritized view for leadership.
Share who you want to hear from
Send Jules a roster of employees.
There’s nothing to install, no app to download, and no IT project to manage.
Employees talk with Jules at any time it’s convenient for them
Employees call a number or open a chat on company time, whenever they have some downtime. Conversations take about seven minutes on average, and Jules asks follow-up questions to get the detail behind each problem or idea.
See what your stores are telling you in one place
Feedback from every store, shift, and role comes together in one app. See the patterns, compare locations, and prioritize the opportunities worth acting on first.
The questions on every retail leader’s mind
How do people take part if most of my team doesn’t have a computer?
By phone or through a link. There’s no app to download and no account to create, so the people you need to hear from, associates, stockers, and shift leads, can take part even if they never touch a company system.
What if my people don’t all speak English?
Tell Jules speaks 55 languages and counting, covering the vast majority of the world’s population, so each person can speak in the one they’re most comfortable using.
How does this work without pulling people off the floor?
People don't all do it at once. Each person has a short conversation, about seven minutes on average, by phone or a link, at their own convenience. It happens on company time, whenever they or their manager see fit, so it fits around shifts and nothing has to close to make it happen. Your night, weekend, and seasonal crews take part the same way, and those are the crews a scheduled store visit rarely reaches.
Does it work across all my stores, and can I compare locations?
Yes. Tell Jules reaches every store and shows the patterns across them, so what one store already worked out can surface for the others instead of staying stuck where no one else sees it.
Does Jules understand real retail problems?
Yes. Jules already knows retail: the language, how a store runs, and where things go wrong. Your people talk shrink, replenishment, planograms, scheduling, or checkout without explaining the basics, and Jules asks the right follow-ups. What comes back reads like it came from someone who’s spent time on a sales floor.
We already have a task and comms app. How is this different?
Your task and comms apps handle the work you've already decided to do: a planogram set, a checklist closed, a message read. Tell Jules fills the pipeline with the improvements no one's raised yet: the workaround a store's run for months, the display idea stuck with one associate, the process that drags every shift, the real reason people leave. Jules pulls those out in conversation and puts them next to the data you already track.
Can responses be confidential?
Yes. You choose attributed or confidential. If you choose confidential, leadership only sees a summary of the problems and ideas, with no names and no way to tell who said what.
We already run store huddles and town halls. Where does Tell Jules fit?
Keep running them. Tell Jules helps you hear from the shifts, stores, and less vocal people those don’t reach, and what surfaces feeds straight into the improvement work you already have underway.
We’re a union environment. Does that change anything?
It depends on your relationship with your unions, so it's worth a conversation early. Taking part is always voluntary and can be confidential, and Tell Jules never monitors individuals or tracks performance. We've run it successfully in heavily unionized utilities.
How do you handle privacy and my people’s data?
We hold your people's data to strict privacy and security standards, and the full detail is on our security page. We never use your data to train AI models. The conversations run on infrastructure that meets standards like HIPAA and SOC 2, and data is kept for a limited time and deleted on request.
Is this just another AI bot my people will tune out?
No, the opposite. In our pilots, people tell us they enjoy talking to Jules. It listens, asks real follow-up questions, and lets them explain what they see in their own words, and for many it's the first time someone's asked in a way that clearly goes somewhere.
